Garmin has recently released a Fitness band that learns your activity level and helps you to improve your overall fitness level! This is a great device especially if you have other garmin devices as it interfaces and integrates with the garmin portal and exercise tracking application! What I like most about this device is it actually tells you how many calories your body utilizes during the day. I have always heard that with my body type that I typically burn 1200 calories today (with no exercise)…It was amazing as this is exactly what my watch tells me if I am not active during the day. This device does not allow you to put in what you eat and therefore does not provide you will an overall view of consumption as opposed to usage…but at the end of the day…you can calculate this yourself by utilizing Bing Health and Fitness and subtracting you calorie intake from your calorie expenditure. I highly recommend this band as it has a 1 year battery life, waterproof, etc!
