California- San Diego Rock-n-Roll Marathon- June 3rd, 2007

This was the third marathon in the Rock “N” Roll series Marathon. This was also the 10th anniversary for the San Diego Marathon with over 20,000 participants. The race ran through San Diego, from Balboa Park to downtown, out and around Mission Bay and then back to the Marine Corps Depot. Along the course were about 26 bands, cheerleading squads, US Marines, and thousands and thousands of spectators.
This was the first race we ran since we had been working with a physical trainer (Brian Caulkins). We were the most fit we had ever been to date which definitely helped during the race! It was a beautiful day and a great race! Enjoyed the music along the way and all of the crowds!
